What are The Belmont doing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus)?

Here at The Belmont, we want your only concern to be enjoying your holiday. That’s why we have created our action and prevention protocols,  hygiene, food safety and health, and in accordance with the recommendations of the WHO & Gov. Following these lines of action, we have increased our sanitary measures in order to ensure that travelling remains a safe experience. Here are some of the main safety and cleaning measures in our hotel.

We will continually review and update following government guidelines.

 Management and Staff.

Equipped with PPE and temperature checked at the beginning of the day.

Front desk.

Temperature checks on arrival for guest’s (over 38 degrees Celsius guest potentially refused entry depending on their personal circumstances).

Disinfection of Room Keys before and after each guest’s stay.

All leaflets and maps have been removed and will be internet based. Click this link.

Please wear a face covering in public areas in hotel.


Thorough cleaning of rooms on change over days with a minimum of 24 hours before next check in.

Rooms will not be serviced during your stay as per gov guidance.

We will provide clean towels on request.

Complimentary tea and coffee supplied on arrival then on request at reception,

Common Areas.

Limited capacity

More frequent cleaning, especially in areas of greatest contact.

Hand sanitiser dispenser points throughout.

Please wear a face covering in public areas in hotel.

Breakfast Room.

Waiting staff will wear face masks or shields.

Sanitiser dispenser point on entry.

Disinfection of tables after each use.

Buffet not available and table service with A La Carte Menu.

All condiments and cereals in sachets and portion packs.

Swimming Pool/Dr Detox

Enhanced maintenance and disinfection of swimming pool water.

Dr Detox will be limited and available by request only.
