In terms of hospitality both Mr and Mrs Eastman created a natural and genuine welcome with commitment to guest welfare. Aspects such as genuine conversation all help to personalise the experience, creates a sense of inclusion. Service was to a very good standard throughout the stay. Bedrooms/bathrooms provide sound levels of comfort with a host of thoughtful extras, all reflecting the generosity which is a hallmark here.- AA Inspector

Wonderful hotel lovely warm friendly staff. We were greeted by a lovely lady upon arrival and shown around the lovely building really homely feel great bedroom with good views despite being a bit misty. Amazing selection in the breakfast room only a shame I wasn't very hungry! Cannot rate this place highly enough I'll definitely be returning next time I come to the island :)- Mark P - Abingdon

Linda & Des were brilliant hosts ,made us feel really welcome for my 50th Birthday celebration .Lovely Luxury room 14 with ensuite and Sea views .The Breakfast experience had everything you could imagine plus freshly cooked by Linda full English Breakfast ,We Are returning back here in June .5* recommended Cheers- Shaun & Gloria

First of all thank you des and Linda for the way you both treated us. We visited for just one night and we didn't want to leave it was so relaxing and welcoming we was shown around the hotel and we was shown to our room witch I must say was exceptional the bar was very nice and its not that expensive I liked the pictures on the walls witch had a very cool theme I won't say what though Il leave that one to you to guess the food was outstanding and Linda had cooked it all from scratch The breakfast as well we will be going back and would highly recommend it to anyone.- Perri W

Had a 4 night break at the Belmont, and were greeted by Des the owner who immediately took our bags into the hotel. The accommodation was fantastic. We booked this hotel at short notice and it didn't disappoint, the hosts Des and Linda are very friendly and will assist you in any way they can. The rooms are clean and tidy and we couldn't fault a thing. Linda cooks the most amazing breakfast imaginable. All in all I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anybody. An absolute gem!

I stayed in Room 20 and it was lovely. The hotel is beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay (3 x nights). The breakfast was delicious with a good choice. Linda & Des were really welcoming and friendly. There were lots of lovely little touches around in the room and throughout the hotel (little shop with snacks, essentials you may have forgotten etc) There are lots of accommodation choices in the area, but I would thoroughly recommend The Belmont Hotel. An absolute gem!

A Restful Home from Home

This is not a Hotel really, it’s more a home from home, you are welcomed on arrival, shown around, have a table allocated for breakfast so no fuss in the mornings, you are shown your room, extremely comfortable and well furnished, no staff visit your room unless requested so no hurry to go out each day

Breakfast is a delight, superbly cooked and served, the gorgeous bar, the useful Boots items for sale in the foyer in case you run have out, the whole place is a welcoming restful delight close to the beach lift and with a car park. We visited years ago, will be back, have already recommended to friends.
