The Belmont - Shanklin, Isle of Wight

IOW

There are many Tourist attractions on the Island and is seeped in History and Natural Beauty.

The Island is approx 25 x 13 miles and is the largest of England, located in the English Channel, on average about 3 to 5 miles off the coast of Hampshire. It has over 477 miles of roadways and over 500 miles of pathways and cycleways. For such a small county it is surprising that it boasts 7 golf courses! You’ll also find there are 203 scheduled monuments, 60 ancient monuments and 1910 listed buildings.

Over half of the island is officially designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is also widely recognised as the most important site in Europe for finding dinosaur remains. Remains have been found of more than 20 different types of dinosaur including the largest in Britain at 26 metres long!
